“I assure you that there were many widows in Israel in Elijah’s time, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and there was a severe famine throughout the land. Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon. And there were many in Israel with leprosy in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed—only Naaman the Syrian.” Luke 4:25-27 NIV
The Lord knows where the answer to your need is. Therefore it is our prayer today, that God would lead us to the right place and let the right people come into our lives. By revelation, Ananias knew that he needed to go to Straight Street to pray for Saul to receive his eye sight back. We pray that God will put us in contact with people who would open our eyes to new ideas and new opportunities. We pray that God will send us help just as He sent help to Saul, and just as He did for the widow of Zarephath. When Naaman needed healing, the Lord led him to the prophet who could help him. We pray that God will guide us to the place where our problems would be solved. Lord, Lead us to the doctor who will figure out what is wrong with us; lead us to the professional who knows the solution to our problem. We pray that we will be guided to the job place where we would prosper. Let us know where to send our application to receive the right answers, let us know who to ask for help. Lord let help find us, as Ananias found Saul, and just as the prophet found the widow. Let favor locate us, let angels meet us on the street. Let our children encounter teachers who would help them understand their subjects better, let them meet friends who would encourage them in the Lord. Let us be discovered by coaches and bosses who would push us forward to the next level. Lord send us employees who will champion our cause. Let help come to us from all directions, and guide our feet to the place of our blessing, in the name of Jesus.
