“But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!””
Revelation 5:3-5, 12 NIV
Today we thank our God who has triumphed in our behalf. In the Scripture above, John wept because nobody could open the scroll. But the elder assured him, that Jesus had triumphed over the problem. In a like manner, the Lord has triumphed over every thing that has caused us to weep.
Jesus has triumphed over our jobs, our finances and over every concern.
When Jesus died, we died with him and rose with him, making us entitled to all that has been bestowed on him. By the blood we have received, power and wealth, wisdom and strength, and honor and glory and praise. . It is upon our lives and that of our children, in the name of Jesus.
