“Isaac asked them, “Why have you come to me, since you were hostile to me and sent me away?”

Early the next morning the men swore an oath to each other. Then Isaac sent them on their way, and they went away peacefully. That day Isaac’s servants came and told him about the well they had dug. They said, “We’ve found water!””

If you make room for other people for the sake of peace, God will make room for you and bless you. The day Isaac made peace with people who have hurt him, that same day, the Lord made water flow into his well. God will reward your effort and bless anything you are building or digging at, when you give up bitterness and unforgiveness. The Lord will bless us when we decide to overlook an offense because of Christ.
Isaac had dug a well, but there was no water flowing in the well. The same day Isaac made peace with the people who had been hostile to him, God put water in the well Isaac had dug. We pray that God will reward our efforts and make every project and task productive- may water appear in our wells in the name of Jesus. We pray that God will give us the grace to forgive people who treat us badly because of jealousy. We give up every spirit of vindictiveness and vengeance. We refuse to be vengeful or vindictive. Holy Spirit help us to let go. And bless us as we make an effort to live peacefully with people who have hurt us. Lord ‘put water in our wells’. Let let every effort we make be productive in the name of Jesus.
