“Whoever does not fall down and worship will immediately be thrown into a blazing furnace.”

Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, “Werenʼt there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?” They replied, “Certainly, Your Majesty.” He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.””

If you don’t bow your knees to the enemy and succumb to temptation, you will not burn. The Lord will stand by us like the fourth man in the fire at all times when we continue to trust in him and in his promises. When we go through difficult times, the Lord uses it to promote us even though the devil meant it for evil. The three Hebrew boys were promoted after their ordeal of being thrown into fire. God thwarts every plan of evil concerning us and He protects us.
Today, we pray that the Lord will promote us to stand in higher places. We pray that the Lord will contend with any opposition we are facing at work or in our businesses. We ask our God for His protective hand to shield us from every jealous eye.
When Mordecai refused to bow to Herman, he got into trouble. But he was delivered by God and promoted. Father, as we strive to live righteously, we pray that you shall vindicate us and release your blessings over us. Our great Rewarder will bless all who trust in him. In the name of Jesus. Amen
