“Then David said, “Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul?” And the LORD said, “They will deliver you. I Samuel‬ ‭23:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

As children of God, the light of God is in us. That light gives us victory and insight into all manner of things.
Today, we ask the Lord to shed his light on every relationship we are in so that we will know people for whom they are. We ask the Lord to shine his light on every relationship that has the potential to lead us into achieving our vision in life. We ask for the wisdom to develop those relationships so that we may derive all the potential benefits from it. On the flip side, We pray for insight and illumination when dealing with friends, family members and co-workers who may lead us to trouble.
David had just saved the city of Keilah from the Philistines. Therefore, he expected that the people of Keilah would show gratitude by standing with him when Saul comes to attack. However, the Lord revealed to David that he needs to run away from the people of Keilah because they plan to hand David over to his enemies.
When God shines His light around us, He gives us insight into all things and reveals to us the hidden secrets of the heart of the people in our lives.
Thank you Lord for your light in our lives. Father, Let your light shine around us to guide and protect us. Give us wisdom in managing all our affairs to the praise of your holy name. Let your light shine on every relationship, in the name of Jesus.
