Today, we ask the Lord for wisdom and prudence in managing our lives. We pray that that Lord will help us overcome any bad habits and tendencies that can make us miss the opportunities that God brings our way. We pray that we would not take things for granted, but we will make use of every opportunity to safe for the future, and to preserve what God has blessed us with. All the ten virgins qualified to be at the banquet, but the foolish ones did not pay attention to what is needed for the wait. When they saw that the others had extra oil, they did not make the effort to get some until the last minute. May God help all of us to redeem the time, so that we will not push things off till the last minute. I pray that grace will prevail in every situation, and that the God of the breakthrough will give us the strength of mind, to focus on what needs to be done at every point in time. Most importantly, we pray that we will not miss heaven. May wisdom guide and guard our hearts to victory, in the name of Jesus.  Amen.
