Prisoners of Hope

“Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.””
‭‭Romans‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭NIV
Today, we renew our hope and faith in the Lord. When we hope, it does not mean that we don’t face the facts. Rather, when we hope, we apply God’s word to the situation and begin to see things from God’s perspective.
Abraham knew his body was dead but he figured that God was a God who could bring dead things back to live, therefore, Abraham continued to hope as the years passed by. I encourage you today to keep calm and keep your hope in the Lord. God will give you a child, God will give you a spouse, God will make you pass that exam, He will also place you in a place of abundance, and make your dreams come true. He will bring back to live the marriage that seems dead. God will heal you of every chronic disease; He will bring to an end every form of unemployment and underemployment no matter how long you have stayed at home. God will bring to you what you had hoped for when you submitted your application, and every dream that seems to have died a natural death, will be quickened by the Holy Spirit.
For our God is the God that calls into being things that do not exist, making rivers flow in the desert, healing the sick, resurrecting the dead and making a way where there seems to be no way.
Father, as your word has come to us today, let it accomplish the purpose for which it was sent. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
